University of Minnesota v. Accused Student
Project Details
Project Description

In this case, Greg Young’s client, a University of Minnesota freshman student, was accused of sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Following testimony from eight witnesses, including the accused student and reporting party, a five-member panel composed of students and faculty decided the student was not responsible for violating the University of Minnesota’s Code of Conduct relating to sexual assault. As a result, the student’s future remains intact and he did not receive the three-year academic suspension the university sought.
